2010 Jefferson Award Recipient for Community Service Relating to Organ Donation

In 2010 Rhode Island Organ Donor Awareness Coalition (RIODAC) celebrated its 25th anniversary as a volunteer-led 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works to increase organ and tissue donation through public education about the critical need for donor organs and tissue. We offer informational programs in schools, workplaces and the community, hold donor drives and public awareness events, do media outreach, and collaborate with member agencies.
